How It Works

Disc-Connected is designed to be the safest way to reunite golfers with their plastic. We hide your contact details until both parties agree to connect.

I Lost a Disc (The Poster)

1

Create a Listing

Go to Report a Lost Disc. Enter the disc details (Mold, Color, Course) and your contact info.

Privacy Note: Your phone number and email are hidden from the public. Only your disc details are visible.

2

Wait for a Ping

When someone finds your disc, they will click the "Ping" button on your listing. You will receive an email notification instantly saying "Someone found your disc!".

3

Accept & Connect

Log in to your Dashboard and view your "Received Pings". If you want to talk to the finder, click Accept.

This action unlocks the "Secure Box"—revealing your email, phone number and alias to the finder, and revealing the finder's number to you.

4

Return & Points

Arrange a meetup or drop-off. Once you have your disc back, mark the listing as "Resolved" in your Dashboard. You can verify who returned it to award them points on the Leaderboard!

I Found a Disc (The Pinger)

1

Search the Database

Found a disc on the course? Check the name/number on the back. Then, go to Community Listings and search for the Brand or Mold to see if the owner has reported it lost.

2

Send a Ping

If you find a match, click "Contact" or "Ping" on the listing. You'll be asked to confirm your phone number so the owner can reach you.

Pro Tip: This sends an instant email alert to the owner.

3

Wait for Acceptance

The owner must accept your request. Once they do, you'll see a green "Accepted" badge in your Dashboard under "Pings Sent".
Clicking it will reveal the owner's phone number and email.

4

Earn Points

Return the disc to the owner! When they confirm the return, you earn 20 Points on the Community Leaderboard and unlock badges like "Scout" or "Saint".

Can't find a matching listing? You can Post it as "Found" so the owner can search for YOU instead.
